كندا لايف – تم القبض على كبير المسؤولين الطبيين في هيئة الصحة الداخلية في بريتش كولومبيا ووجهت إليهم تهم تتعلق بجرائم جنسية مزعومة على قاصر في ألبرتا.
أكدت السلطات أن الدكتور ألبرت دي فيلييه تم احتجازه بعد ظهر الثلاثاء في كيلونا وأنه يواجه تهمة اعتداء جنسي وتهمة واحدة بالتدخل الجنسي.
تم القبض على الطبيب البالغ من العمر 52 عامًا نيابة عن مفرزة غراندي براير التي قالت إنها بدأت التحقيق بعد تلقي تقرير عن “جرائم جنسية ضد طفل صغير يُزعم أنها حدثت بين عامي 2018 و 2020”.
وقالت غراندي بريري في بيان صحفي: “بما أن هذا الأمر معروض الآن أمام المحاكم فلا يمكن الإفصاح عن مزيد من المعلومات”.
قبل إنتقاله إلى بريتش كولومبيا في عام 2020 كان دي فيلييه مسؤول الصحة الطبية الرئيسي للمنطقة الشمالية في ألبرتا لمدة 16 عامًا وكان يعمل في Grande Prairie.
قالت وزارة الصحة في بريتش كولومبيا إنها على علم باعتقال دي فيليير وتراقب الوضع.
وقالت هيئة الصحة الداخلية إنه سيتم تعيين كبير المسؤولين الطبيين المؤقتين يوم الأربعاء وأن الدكتورة سو بولوك ستتولى مهامها اعتبارًا من الأسبوع المقبل.
وقال متحدث رسمي إن السلطة الصحية لا يمكنها التعليق أكثر…. وقالت يجيب توجيه الأسئلة إلى شرطة الخيالة الملكية الكندية.
