كندا لايف – قال بريد كندا إن هجومًا إلكترونيًا على أحد مورديها أدى إلى اختراق معلومات حول ما يقرب من مليون عميل.
في تفاصيل قال بريد كندا إنه علم بهجوم البرامج الضارة على (Commport Communications)
معلومات العملاء. في 19 مايو مضيف أنه يؤثر على 44 من عملاء الأعمال الكبار. يعني تأثير الموجة أن المتسللين ربما يكونون قد سرقوا معلومات من حوالي 950 ألف عميل تعاملوا مع تلك الشركات.
تقول الخدمة البريدية إن Commport Communications هي “مورد حلول تبادل البيانات الإلكترونية” والتي تُستخدم “لإدارة بيانات بيان الشحن لعملاء شركات الطرود الكبيرة”. تقول بيانات الشحن عادة ما تتضمن معلومات الاتصال بالمرسل والمستقبل مثل الأسماء والعناوين.
وأشار بريد كندا إن 97 في المائة من ملفات بيانات الشحن تتضمن اسم وعنوان العميل المستلم بينما تحتوي الملفات المتبقية على عنوان بريد إلكتروني / أو رقم هاتف.
وفقًا لـ بريد كندا لا يوجد دليل على أن المتسللين كانوا سيصلون إلى أي معلومات مالية.
