كندا لايف – لقي ثلاثة أشخاص مصرعهم بعد انهيار جليدي بالقرب من مدينة إنفيرمير بمقاطعة بريتش كولومبيا وأصيب أربعة آخرون.

يتزلجون عبر طائرات الهليكوبتر في المنطقة في 1 مارس/آذار، عندما حوصرهم الانهيار الجليدي.
وقالت شرطة المقاطعة وشرطة الخيالة الملكية الكندية، إنها أُبلغت بحدوث انهيار جليدي في منطقة بانوراما – بالقرب من الحدود مع ألبرتا – في حوالي الساعة 12:40 مساءً. يوم الاربعاء.
وأضافوا أن التقرير الأولي ذكر أن عدة أشخاص كانوا يتزلجون عبر طائرات الهليكوبتر عندما ضرب الانهيار الجليدي المنطقة.
وقالت شرطة الخيالة الكندية الملكية: “بدأت جهود الإنقاذ في البداية مع منظمة البحث والإنقاذ، لكن المتنزهات الكندية توقفت قبل وصولهم، حيث تم حصر جميع المتزلجين المدفونين”.
وسقط عشرة اشخاص في الانهيار الجليدي وتوفي ثلاثة منهم.
وأضافت شرطة الخيالة الكندية الملكية أن أربعة أشخاص آخرين أصيبوا في الحادث “بعضهم في حالة خطيرة لكن يعتقد أنهم نجوا”.
وذكر البيان أن “خدمات الطوارئ الصحية في بريتش كولومبيا تمكنت من رعاية جميع المتوفين والمصابين الذين تم نقلهم بعد ذلك جواً إلى مستشفى إينفيرمير”.
كما أكد المسؤولون أن أحد المتزلجين الذين أصيبوا بجروح خطيرة كان مرشد المجموعة.
ذكرت Global News أن الشركة المتورطة في الحادث هي RK Heliski، وهي شركة تزلج بطائرات الهليكوبتر تقع في بانوراما.
