أعلن رئيس الوزراء كيبيك فرانسوا لوغو في مؤتمر صحفي اليوم الثلاثاء إن الوضع في كيبيك يتحسن خلال الأسابيع القليلة الماضية بفضل جهود سكان كيبيك.
وقال أنه يمكن إعادة فتح المتاجر وصالونات تصفيف الشعر والمتاحف في 8 فبراير/شباط ؛ لكن حظر التجول سيبقى قائما ً.
وأضاف ” إن الوضع ما زال صعبا في المستشفيات، مشيرا إلى أن 34 في المائة من العمليات الجراحية في المقاطعة تم تأجيلها بسبب الوباء.
وأكد أنه اعتبارًا من 8 فبراير، سيتم السماح للمتاجر وصالونات الحلاقة والمتاحف بفتح أبوابها في جميع أنحاء المقاطعة.
وأشار إلى أن ست مناطق تتحرك إلى حالة التأهب البرتقالي لأن الوضع هناك قد تحسن أكثر من المناطق الأخرى. في تلك المناطق، يمكن استئناف عمل المطاعم وصالات الألعاب الرياضية والأنشطة الخارجية اعتبارًا من يوم الاثنين.
وسينتقل حظر التجول في هذه المناطق فقط إلى الساعة 9:30 مساءً، بدلا من الساعة 8 مساءً.
وتشمل هذه المناطق Gaspé and Magdalen Islands وNorth Shore وLower St-Lawrence وnorthern Quebec وAbitibi-Témiscamingue وSaguenay-Lac-St-Jean.
