وظهرت في لقطات بثتها القنوات التلفزيونية الهندية سحابة ضخمة من الدخان الرمادي فوق موقع المعهد سيروم في بوني (غرب) حيث يتم حاليا إنتاج ملايين الجرعات من لقاح “كوفيشيلد” الذي طورته شركة مختبرات “أسترازينيكا” وجامعة أوكسفورد، لمكافحة Covid-19
لكن القنوات أوضحت أن الحريق اندلع في موقع قيد الإنشاء بعيد عن منشآت إنتاج اللقاحات
وصرح مسؤول في ثكنة رجال الاطفاء في المنطقة لوكالة فرانس برس “أرسلنا ست أو سبع سيارات إطفاء إلى مكان الحادث. ليست لدينا معلومات أخرى نعلنها في الوقت الحالي بشأن رقعة الحريق أو ما إذا كان أحد محاصرا”.
وأفادت الشرطة في بوني وكالة فرانس برس أن فرقها وصلت إلى المكان بدون إعطاء تفاصيل إضافية.
