كندا لايف – سيبدأ تقليد سنوي جديد إلى المقاطعة حيث أعلن رئيس الوزراء جيسون كيني أنه سيتم الاحتفال بيوم ألبرتا كل شهر سبتمبر.
على الرغم من أنه لن يكون عطلة رسمية، إلا أنه سيحتفل بالتراث الثقافي الغني لألبرتا ويعترف بمكانتها الفريدة في الكونفدرالية.
في 1 سبتمبر 1905، دخل قانون ألبرتا حيز التنفيذ، وتم تأسيس رسميًا مقاطعة ألبرتا.
تقول المقاطعة إن الاعتراف بهذا التاريخ يمنح سكان ألبرتا فرصة كل عام للالتقاء بروح الاحتفال والتعبير عن فخرهم بكل الأشياء الفريدة من نوعها في ألبرتا.

وأوضح “ان إنشاء تقليد سنوي جديد سيكون إحدى الطرق لإظهار فخرنا بهذه المقاطعة المذهلة.”
ستستضيف حكومة ألبرتا احتفالات في إدمونتون وكالجاري وستدعم البلديات الأخرى في تخطيط واستضافة الأحداث الخاصة بها، وربما بالتزامن مع احتفالات الملكة باليوبيل البلاتيني للملكة.
