وأضاف أن استجابة رجال الأمن جاءت في إطار زيادة التدقيق الأمني، بعد أن قتل مسلح (يبلغ من العمر 18 عاما) 19 طفلا ومعلمتين في قاعة دراسة بإحدى مدارس بلدة أوفالدي بولاية تكساس الأسبوع الماضي، بينما ظل رجال الأمن خارج المدرسة قرابة الساعة.
وحادث تولسا هو الأحدث ضمن سلسلة من حوادث إطلاق النار العشوائي التي صدمت الأميركيين وأشعلت جدلا حول الحد من انتشار السلاح.
