كندا لايف – أعلنت وزارة الصحة الإماراتية، الثلاثاء، عن رصد أول حالة لجدري القرود في الدولة وفق السياسة المتبعة لدى الجهات الصحية بالدولة للرصد والتقصي المبكر لجدري القرود وفقًا لـ CNN.
وقالت الوزارة، في بيان، إن الحالة تعود إلى سيدة تبلغ من العمر 29 سنة زائرة للدولة من غرب أفريقيا وتتلقى العناية الطبية اللازمة في الدولة، وفقا لما نقلته وكالة الأنباء الإماراتية الرسمية.
وطمأنت الوزارة أفراد المجتمع بأن الجهات الصحية بالإمارات تقوم باتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة كافة بما فيها التقصي وفحص المخالطين ومتابعتهم.
وأكدت الوزارة أنها وبالتعاون مع الجهات الصحية تتبع آلية ترصد وبائي وفق أعلى الممارسات العالمية لضمان الكفاءة المستدامة ووقاية المجتمع من الأمراض السارية وسرعة اكتشاف الحالات والعمل على الحد من الانتشار المحلي للأمراض والفيروسات كافة بما فيها جدري القرود.
ودعت الوزارة إلى أخذ المعلومات من المصادر الرسمية في الدولة وعدم تداول الشائعات والمعلومات المغلوطة إضافة إلى أهمية متابعة المستجدات والإرشادات التي تصدر من الجهات الصحية.
