وتوقع التقرير أن يصل إنتاج القمح في 2022-2023 إلى 31.58 مليون طن، مع مخزونات نهائية تبلغ 4 ملايين طن.
كما ذكر التقرير أنه من المتوقع أن تنخفض نسبة المخزون النهائي إلى الاستخدام لإجمالي القمح في 2022-23 إلى 1%، وهو مستوى لم نشهده منذ عام 1938.
من المتوقع أن تزيد صادرات القمح والشعير والشوفان بنسبة 32% في 2022/23 عن العام الماضي، على افتراض أن تحسن ظروف النمو سيرفع مستوى إمدادات القمح القابل للتصدير في كندا بأكثر من 6 ملايين طن.
